The same proportion of people routinely overreach to avoid moving their ladders during low-level work, and one in seven of those surveyed even admit to reaching dangerously to pick up a cup of tea on the job." Now whilst we all know and appreciate that it is dangerous to over-reach when working on ladders and take the issue seriously, I'm not too sure what the 'ordinary person' might think from the example chosen. Posted By Robert K Lewis Note that it does not actually say they are on a ladder while reaching for the tea - it can be dangerous reaching over a table - especially if you knock Joe's tea over in the process!!!!!!!!!! Thinking of some of Tommy's actions does make you wonder where the HSE PR people are at. Bob
