Posted By J Knight Myth: If you break safety rules you're not insured Reality: Workers are not insured, the employer is, and even if there is no cover from the insurers the employer still has to pay any sums awarded as compensation. Whether you can succesfully sue them might well depend on why you broke the safety rule in the first place, John
