Hiya all
I wonder if any one can help...!!!
We need to put on a vessal sampler at DATA Plate and we are not confident as to what information is requiered our customer says he just wants a "tag number" but we know we must put more on.
does any body have any info or any idea where we can find the info

Is this a pressure vessel? If so then the data plate might carry the following info:-
vessel design code (eg ASME VIII, BS5500 etc);
corrosion allowance;
maximum working pressure (bar) OR
maximum working vacuum if a vacuum vessel;
maximum working temperature (°C);
minimum working temperature (°C);
capacity of the vessel (litres);
name or mark of the manufacturer;
serial, ID, batch or other identifier;
equipment tag no.;
year of manufacture.

oh yes, and if subject to inspection, the stamp of the inspection authority (eg Lloyds, DNV etc)
