Posted By Ian Mitchell Good morning, We are currently installing a goods hoist on one of our construction sites. Can anybody recommend a suitable company who could carry out an inspection of the final assembly once erected and prior to first use? Thank you, Ian

Posted By The toecap Who ever is installing it should give you a handover certificate with the service of a full check prior to use. If they dont then how do you know what you are paying for?

Posted By Ian Mitchell Hiya toecap. We are installing the hoist ourselves using scaffolders. I do not support this, but have relented on the proviso that all the usual precautions are taken, and an independent third party checks the work thoroughly before commissioning, and at periodic intervals thereafter. Cheers Ian M
