Posted By The toecap Can anybody resolve a matter of the above or give a suggestion? We are working for a housing association and the work involves working in the occupiers back kitchen plastering and boxing pipes in. The probelm arises when operatives are exposed to a fall from height by working off milk crates and small fold away benches. The kithcen is too small to put anything in like a tower and other similar devices. What do other people do in a similar situation? Answers on a postcard please. And yes my risk assesment will say that there is a risk of falling and being injured. Even if its a sprained ankle.

Posted By Jeffrey Watt Ok TC sorry mate. These jobs always end up a bit of a moveable feast and maybe you need to cherry pick different methods. Have you tried any youngman board products I think they do a 36 inch wide standard board. Maybe ordinary trestles that are well braced together and a braced step would be suitable and sufficient to make a large low level platform. I take it the little old lady still needs to be able to get into her kitchen to get the dinner on, so this set up needs to be mobile? Jeff
