Posted By Howard I'm sure this has probably been asked before, but I cant find anything on the search facility. When delivering ISO containers to construction sites, our operatives normally use ladders to release/attach the hooks to the lifting eyes. However this may not always an option due to the location, beit double stacked or parked against something preventing access. I am informed after all other options have been explored, the last resort is for an operative to climb on top of the container using a harness/ lanyard attached to the jib hook though I havent yet witnessed it. For those of you who have come across this before , what protective measures do you employ? Pictures would be handy if possible. Thanks
