Does anyone have any idea how long does this cert last? I was told that it's either 2 or 3 years. Thanks May

The above course, which is now called "Foundation Cert. in Food Hygiene" is recommended by the CIEH to undergo a refresher every 3 yrs. If the course is produced by another organisation, then the period may well be different.This, of course, applies to level 1 courses only and not level 2 such as the Intermediate Course.The Directory of Food Trainers has a website, which lists all trainers in your area.Search under their name for the address. Good luck !

Just done the course myself. 3 years is the answer. Course is available from Local Authority Environmental Health and costs around £40 for the full day course.
