Posted By Sally C Can anyone jog my memory as to the name of the organisation that lists waste items for 'exchange.' I was alerted to the scheme a while ago but I can't remember the name of the organisation. We have a surplus of wooden pallets we wish to dispose of & we are having trouble in finding anyone [in the North West / Manchester area] to take them off our hands!? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks Sally

Posted By Chris Knagg If your business is in the Salford City Council area of Manchester, they operate a scheme were they will take cardboard and timber away for Recycling FREE. we have saved a fortune in skip hire just by separating the cardboard and timber from our waste streams. They send the collection vehicles around weekly.
