Reference works bought either second-hand or on bidding sites can help you save money and build up an extensive range of reference works. I keep mine to hand in the office, and like now, it only takes two minutes and an index to find info out for someone else in need ! It also stops people trying to guess, as I make them read the info for themselves so that they too are learning something ! Crafty ,eh?
