Posted By Helen Flinn Hi All Would anyone out there know where I can find an induction programme for new Board of Directors members? Or do you have something I could get a copy of? We have various new members joining us over the next couple of months and I am trying to put something together to inform them of their duties/responsibilities, without just passing them a copy of the HSE booklet & wishing them well. All suggestions gratefully received. Hx

Posted By George Wedgwood Have a word with DuPont Safety Resources - see http://www2.dupont.com/C...rings/our_offerings.html They work well in large companies and can raise H&S performance dramatically - They start with Ditectors and once they sign up, the ball starts rolling for a well thought out programme, involving all managers. They also will tailor to suit your needs. If that is too daunting, have a word with Sypol at http://www.sypol.com/sypol/training/index.html and ask about their Boardroom Briefings etc. You can also approach IOSH as Directing Safely at http://www.iosh.co.uk/in...=courses.directingSafely for SMEs but can be tailored tom larger companies. Hope this helps.
