Help. I am calling on all you experts out there for assistance in sourcing a product. I have a requirement to buy a mobile tower to clean a glass canopy over a doorway once a month. The total height is 4m.
The towers available in the usual places are alloy / scaffold, built up each time as required. I am sure there is a tower that is compartmentalised to avoid having to painstakingly "build" scaffold each time you want to use it. Instead you would just fit the sections together securely cutting down on time and probably improving the safety. HSS don't know of such a product but I am sure I have seen it as an advert in one of my H&S magazines.
Does anyone know what I am talking about, or will I get one deisgned and patent it myself!!!
I truly hope you can help.

Rather than looking at a Tower, have you considering using a 'reach and wash system' which allows cleaning of the canopy from ground level?

There are 'folding' towers available but they are not very tall. The one we have used was under 2 metres.

Have you tried the manufacturers, such as Youngman Boss, they manufacture a small Mini Max Tower which may suit what you are after.
I met a really helpful and knowledgeable guy at this years expo, I am sure he may be able to help.
