We ended up creating a one page document containing all the basic site rules and then asking the local college to translate it into the required languages. I thought about Babelfish too but technical words and phrases don't tend to translate too well (some of the retranslations wer quite funny though). Adam

Posted By Merv Newman Jason, stay visual. Use symbols as much as possible. Don't worry if you have to invent a few yourself. I've got a number of power tools here, all destined for international markets and they come with stickers which only have drawings on them (you should see the one on the petrol chain saw ! Actually there is one on it representing an open book : "read the instructions" I suppose. Except that as I bought it second-hand ... ) Merv
