Is anyone aware of any recent or imminent changes to legislation relating to the provision of cushioning or similar, to protect persons walking past or underneath scaffolding.

The reason for the question is that one of our Sales bods has 'heard' that there may be, and we as a company could get 'early' entry into the market.

Any information gratefully received.

Mike, as an ex scaff, I can honestly say that i've never heard any mention of requirements to provide cushioning on an erected scaffold.
Would be interested to know where your 'sales bod' got this info.
