Hi All,

I'm a 23 years old who started off in the health and safety field 2 years ago, after wondering what to go to do after completing my Diploma in Applied Biology. I got the bug for the subject, and have since moved on to complete the NEBOSH Cert, and am starting another Diploma in September while gaining experience in a h&s consultancy.

So far all my experiences has been good, the people I work with are very encouraging and I've so far learned a lot from them. I hope to go on and eventually become a member of IOSH (years off yet unfortunately!!), gaining lots more experience on the way.

I've found the IOSH forums interesting since I started reading a few months ago, especially for someone like myself who has little experience in areas like construction, where I have no experience but would evetually like to get into.

Well, there's my two cents. I'm sure there are plenty of others out there who have had similar experiences starting off, feel free to share!!

Hi All

I too am fairly new to the H&S role but i must say that since joining this forum about a month ago, I have learnt a great deal from the wealth of experiance of those who participate in it.

I am sure that most would agree that H&S can be a lonely and thankless task, but it is always a great help to get ideas and support from like minded people.

So a sincere thank you to one and all and also IOSH for creating this fantastic forum.
