Has anyone got a procedure for working with gas in a construction site? I have looked at the guidelines for working near gas pipelines but would appreciate any further information. Thanks Adrian.

Try looking at HSG185. Health & Safety in Excavations.

You haven't indicated wether you are working with gas or trying to ensure you don't hit a pipeline!!!!
