Posted By Martin Keeler We have just employed a 16 year old and have carried out the usual induction and young persons risk assessment etc. Do we have to send copies of the assessment findings to his parents?

Posted By Bob Thompson CMIOSH I presume the J stands for John ( forgive me if not) you are technically right on this one however if the young person is in local authority care then this stance changes in respect of the implications of social care legislation and definitions within it. LA's maintain responsibility for Care Leavers until the age of 21
