Appreciate if any guidance on testing requirements / specifications for the lifting equipment holders such as beams used for chain blocks in work shops etc. How this will be managed if the beam is part of the structure?

Do you mean structural steelwork to which you have attached a beam clamp and chainblock, or is it a beam specifically installed for this purpose?
If this is a regular lifting operation you carry out, I think a structural engineer should be asked to check that the beam/steelwork can take the applied load and as soon as this is confirmed it should probably be marked with the appropriate safe working load. The beam will then need to be included in your lifting equipment thorough examination regime, i.e. examined at least every 12 months to ensure it is still fit for purpose.
See the LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment) Regs 1998. I reckon it's better to apply them and be safe rather than sorry!
