Posted By Brian Jones Could any of you out there offer me some help on suitable monitor height adjusting equipment. We have a number of monitors that are used by our shift traders; hence the monitor height needs to be adjustable for all the traders that use the desk at varying times.

Posted By Lilian McCartney Your stationery catalogue may have monitor arms. They come in various styles and prices. I've found that one which will also hold the keyboard when not required works well. Some are hydraulic and others quite simple construction. Dearest isn't always best. Tyr and get one on trial before purchasing

Posted By Kieran J Duignan The problem you're raising appears ambiguous.
Is it ergonomic? Do employees have to do variable tasks which require them to slightly adjust their postures during the working day?
Is it biomechanical? If so, to some extent you can enable employees (in fixed postures) to adapt the settings of their monitors.
Either way, the most effective way to safeguard them is to educate them about the sources of the risks and options for managing them intelligently and sensitively both to tasks and to the variety of anthropometric measurements.
