Can anyone give me a brief overview as to the legal requirements for Fire Certificates for commercial premises in Italy.

It is my understanding that legally commercial premises in Italy cannot be sold unless they have a current Fire Certificate in place.

Any information (or sources of information) would be most welcome.

Thanks in advance.
