Does anyone have a view regarding the exposure of an expectant mother (6mths pregnant) to the lead from air gun pellets on a shooting range? If it is correct that lead is not absorbed through the skin and she maintains good hygiene controls is there a significant risk to the health of the unborn child?

It's not absorbed directly through the skin, but can be ingested if eating / drinking etc after handling lead. There's also a risk of breathing in the dust, especially when cleaning guns etc.
You may also want to look at noise exposure which can affect gestational development etc.
