Posted By Sally C Good Morning, I am looking for some advice regarding the the application of the working at height regulations for working off flat backed vehicles. (3.5T & above) For example slinging & lifting loads using a crane. For the most part the work of our staff does not include working at height (with the excception of occassional ladder access, which I will address separately) but this is one area where I believe that the reqs may apply & I would like to provide the correct guidance, for example the provision of suitable access to the flat back where it isn't integral to the vehicle. I have reviewed the HSE guidance but nothing is immediately apparent. Thank you in advance for your responses. Sally

Posted By sagalout Sally, try this link. It is specific to your work area rather than the WAH Regs. Link is from the HSE website on workplace transport. http://www.fta.co.uk/inf...orkplacesafety/falls.pdf Pete
