Posted By Andy Cliff We have just purchased a pedestrian reach truck and are unsure if we need to train operators to rittb standard or just use in house familiarisation training. not sure what the legislation is.

Posted By darren booth in my place of work, all operators are trained to rtitb standard. there are other, comparable training bodies. look in the p.u.w.e.r. regs,i am pretty sure it says that operators need sufficient training. we have had injuries in the past which have been caused by lack of training (broken feet, trucks falling over)which is why we now insist all operators are properly trained.
