Posted By halesowen Baggie Can somebody pin point me to the actual Regulation or reference point in ADR where it states that the labelling of a substance has to include the square (tilted on its side) with the substance classification eg corrosive with picture of melting the hand.

Posted By edwin In the orange ADR book, it is: 5.2.2 Labelling of packages 5.2.2.1 Labelling provisions 5.2.2.1.1 For each article or substance listed in Table A of Chapter 3.2, the label shown in Column (5) shall be affixed unless otherwise provided for by special provision in Column (6). Each substance should be looked up in the ADR book to determine the packing and labelling requirements.
