Posted By oneill Hi All, Just wondering if anyone knows the specifications for the storage of chemicals on farms, i.e. what type of units can they be stored in and is there any spec on these units. Thanks in advance. Aoife

Posted By sagalout Oneill, always worth visiting the HSE agricultural pages for this sort of info. Stacks of information sheets on different subjects. You say chemicals but may mean to include pesticides? Controls are really no different to any work environment. Summary spec would be: -relevant warning notices -safe from accidental damage and children, vermin or birds; -Fireproof for 30 minutes; -Able to contain spillages, with protected drains if they might be polluted. -Keep records of what is in the store in case of fire.
