Posted By Edel i have to complete a risk assessment for a commercial retail park. we have one issue in relation to water features, access to the public is open so therefore there is a risk of drowning, has anyone any comments on this issue? Would the use of a rigid mesh interfere with the water feature?

Posted By andymak Don't forget the dreaded L word if atomisation of water is being caused by the flow in the feature.

Posted By Jeffrey Watt Edel I read of the use of mesh recently ( think it was a prosecution), just used under the surface of a large pond/fountain I think. Great for doing Bono impressions at lunch time. Rospa stuff is good. Kind regards Jeff

Posted By Jeffrey Watt Sorry the prosecution reference meant mesh had been recommended by the enforcer as a simple measure to control the risk that had been overlooked.
