Hi,

Nice and easy for a Friday afternoon.

I would like to mark my health and safety folders to differentiate them from my HR folders but can't think of a symbol to use!

Do you have a symbol for your H & S work?

Do you have a name for your H & S committee other than just H & S Committee?

Thanks,

Michelle

Symbol is a yellow triangle with a pictogram of a stag in it. Bears the legend "Caution. Buck Passing"

H&S committee called many and varied things, all unprintable.

I once jokingly said 'Let's be safe out there' similar to Hill Street Blues (you'd have to be my age to remember this programme. In the programme the policemen would all meet for a briefing and the sergeant would safe 'let's be etc' The saying was adopted by my last employer who had a little bumble bee as the logo for it.

Don't know if they ever put some sort of copyright onto it though I expect they didn't

Unfortunately the B-safe programme (originated by the canonised (not yet sainted) Dom cooper)did copyright the bee.

Personally I'm a believer in holistic filing.

Chuck it on the heap. It's all there. Somewhere.

Oh. And for the safety committee, let's just call them "the board of management"

I'm afraid that, grammatically. you have got it wrong. I think it should read "The Bored Management" (preparing for incoming flak).
