Posted By Tyler All, Simple really and I just wish to confirm the answer. Is Noise induced hearing loss reportable under RIDDOR? It does not appear to be so in Schedule 3 Part 1 Occupational Diseases of the RIDDOR Guidance (L73) Reg 5. I just want to ensure I haven't missed anything. I know that noise induced hearing loss can occur out of work and may not be attributable to work. However, this is also true of dermatitis and asthma and they ARE included (subject to caveats in the guidance). Thanks in advance Tyler

Posted By Adrian Watson Tyler, No it's not reportable under RIDDOR. However, Noise induced hearing loss is a claimable injury for specified industry under Social Security Regulations. Regards Adrian Watson
