Posted By KEVIN O'KANE Hi, Have any members out there made the big step from being a safety advisor to working in sales in the safety equipment/products field.I have yet to meet a sales person who is a member of IOSH, and I am constantly disappointed with the lack of knowledge these people have in the actual application of the product they are trying to flog.Maybe there are opportunities out there for us in this multi- million pound industry??...just a thought!!!

Posted By Chris Ivan hi guys i have had 6 years experience of selling H&S related solutions both online and training/consultancy to a variety of sectors (from microbusiness to corporate and also partnership and intermediary sales) have recently gained TEch IOSH status and got a distinction in my NEBOSH gen cert - would love to do DIploma but time and resources doesnt currently allow happy to talk, as you're right, there are too few good sales people out there with necessary technical and commercial knowledge to be credible with safety decision makers email me privately if you wish to have a discussion regards Chris
