Posted By Davelfc Good Morning all I was hoping some one could please assist me, I work for a construction firm recently I have picked up the responsibility for inspecting a small to medium sized woodworking workshop, which is part of our group. If some one has an audit or inspection for a woodworking machine shop I would be extremely grateful. The workshop has a number, of machines including dim bench, thickneser, surface planer, spindle moulder, bandsaw, and bench joiners facility. any information would be greatfully recieved and appreciated.

Posted By Davelfc Jim Many thanks Lots of good info there. I will wade through it all and be able to construct something for auditing. Though I was hoping someone may have something as a template even if it is slightly dated as there have been many changes with tooling and breaking, particulalrly with spindles etc. So if anyone has somehting it would be greatly appreciated and once I have added to it I will be happy to return, with any addiitonal points I may add. So if some one is a bit of an expert in this field then I would appreciate any advice they may have or inspection lists they may have. A long time ago I was advanced trade city n guilds joiner and have trained and worked in this type of environment but it was a long time ago and as a user and not as a safety manager. As I said I am more suited to construction, now so any additional guidance over and above what Jim has guided me to would be appreciated. thansk in anticipation Dave
