Posted By Chris J Burgess Hi, Does anyone have any information on the implementation of Safety Triangles as a monitoring / reward tool. I believe the process would award points for the reporting of Hazards/Near Misses, Positive SHE Audits and SHE Contacts, but would take points away for LTI's, NLTI's and Negative SHE Audits. Any information would be most welcome. Many thanks... Chris Burgess

Posted By Ian G Hutchings Chris I have found it works well to try and remove any negative connotation entirely. You can reward people for working safely and reporting any type of incident or injury. It is rare that you will get any 100% audit or inspection, but yes these should be recognised and rewarded. Some organisations spend too much time working on the poor performers and not enough time with the (usual) majority who do a good job and comply with the rules. I could go on here and get far too detailed. I'm happy to email more thoughts and have a chat if it helps. I'm out this afternoon, but in tomorrow if it helps. All the best Ian
