I am conducting a list of all inspections that are timed and must be carried out regularly ie - emergency lighting; FIre alarm testing, legioaires testing, general lighting, fire extinguisher inspection. Can anyone recommend anymore? it is for a government building full of civil servants.

Apart from the BS which i dont have access to, is there any other site listing the guidelines as to when these should be carried out?

Thanks for your help.

Anders.

Do not forget your various risk assessments will need to be reviewed periodically. Especially if anything is changed significantly.

Anyone know how often PAT should be done?

Or any information about it?

And same for Legionaires?

Sorry for all the questions but im new to the game and undergoing training so my experience in this field isnt vast!

Anders go to www.hse.gov.uk and search on electrical testing etc. All the answers you require are there. There is no set period for PAT and in certain circumstances it is unnecessary but there is too much detail to go into it here.

Am i missing anything else?
