we have fas safe pass in ireland for all construction workers, and cscs cards for occupations that involve a greater element of risk.

Hi Kitty

This can become a complicated area.

Start by looking at http://www.citb-construc...ficationschemes/cscs.asp and http://www.cscs.uk.com/ The CSCS scheme relates to the type of trade activity and then skills level. Confusingly there is also the CPCS scheme http://www.citb-construc...providersupport/cpcs.asp which is aimed at construction plant operation.

In addition there may be requirements by those controlling sites for safety passports.

Search the forum under CSCS CPCS and Passport for many old threads.
