Hi all,
can anyone enlighten me on the reg using a certain eye-wear when cutting metal using oxy-propane.
a reg somewhere states that tinted eye-wear must be used when using oxy-acetylene, but oxy-propane burns at a lower temperature, and am not sure if the reg encompasses all hot-cutting

Hi

I am not sure what the regs state for different gasses (propane v acetylene) but from a practical aspect the shade of filter used for both is normally the same (shade 4)
