I AM CURRENTLY PREPARING AN ACCIDENT REPORT AND INVESTIGATION TRAINING COURSE BUT I HAVE COME UP SHORT ON PRACTICAL EXAMPLES THE CANDIDATES CAN PERFORM. ANY ONE GOT SOME THEY COULD SHARE

There are 2 ways you can deal with this.....

1. Take an accident from within your organisation that is very old (10years+) but still relevant.

2. Develop a scenario such as - contractor is refurbishing the office and part of this requires the installation of a plug point . To get power to there, an extension lead is crossing the working environment. A N Other trips over the cable and breaks their leg. As investigators you must determine the surface and root causes of the accident.
You can give as much or as little information as you see fit, maybe have some other members of staff not on the course role play, develop interviewing techniques etc.

By the way, I use option 2 every time
