Posted By Ashley Wood I have a client who purchased about 25 plastic fire extinguisher stands. each one takes 2 extinguishers. He bought them and does not need them now and wants to dispose of them. If anyone is interested, e-mail me and I will pass on my clients details so that you can deal with them directly. My client is a local authority. As far as I know, they are all new.

Posted By Dave Sparrow Hi Ashley I worked in FM for about 10 years managing government offices. I was asked by the office H&S rep to get the fire exit signs replaced because they were plastic and would melt in a fire !!?? Conveniently she overlooked the filing cabinets (full) in front of the final exit door of the secondary escape route from the public area. (doh!) Maybe they're not realy surplus to requirements, maybe in a fire....................
