Posted By shaun cooper Just to put you in the picture. The new PQP card issued by CSCS is for consultants and professionals who need to visit building sites. You still have to take a health & safety exam, however you also need to be a member of one of the 25 professional bodies that CSCS recognise. I am a member of the Institute of Demolition Engineers which CSCS do not recognise so I am unable to apply for the card, so I have contacted IDE to get them to approach CSCS on my behalf. I would imagine this will effect many others?
