Posted By shaun mckeever I tend to do quite a bit of training in fire safety. The one-liners I use are becoming a bit dated e.g. 'my wife specialises in New Zealand cooking - it's all black'.
Has anyone got some good one-liners?

Posted By Richard Paul-Jones It is tempting to suggest that 'a little out of date' is understating it by some decades. A very happy Christmas to you and your wife.

Posted By ian milne Hi, how about;
'People tell me that Safety is just common sense, but common sense is not that common'.
'Accidents are self evident, just look in the mirror'.
Famous last words; 'been here 20 years and only nearly killed myself 'once', never 'seen' a failed or stupid electrician yet', 'beauty is skin deep, and so is dermatitis', 'money from a court case is no use to a dead person',
'your ability to stop accidents is only compounded by others ability to keep having them'
'if they dont car about their own safety, then obviously they dont care much about your safety either'
'leaving flammables here, will cause the supervisor to explode'
Trust it assists others
