Posted By S R Robinson Our client has a long row of houses to demolish. All were built at the same time, (1950's).
Is a type 3 survey needed for all properties, or can they survey a percentage and knock all of them down if nothing is found?
The reason I ask is I can vaguely remember some guidance that may have said something along those lines, can anyone remember what it may have been?

Posted By Adrian Watson Survey two and if they are the same, inspect the rest. If there is any deviation from the ones surveyed survey in detail that element.

Posted By Dave Wilson I agree do a % representative and then assume that all the rest are the same unless there is obvious differences.
You will need a Risk assessment & Plan of work to remove all the ACM's you discover.
Remember that 'Artex' now does not generally need a licensed contractor to remove, however it still must be done under controlled conditions, L143 tells you how to do this. para 167 - 177 explains
