I'm not an expert, but my gut feeling would be that they are unlikely to pose any greater risk to pregnant persons than to the general workforce - but would like you want something from someone with a greater knowledge than myself on this subject

The beam from a laser is a form of light - it is non-ionising radiation therefore does not cause the genetic damage associated with ionising radiations (x-rays etc.)

There has been no suggestion, in any publications that I've seen about risks to pregnant women, that laser light poses any risk to a pregnant woman or her unborn child over and above the risk to any other person.

The HSE guidance does not list lasers as a hazard to pregnant women, nor does any risk assessment I've seen.

It was Friday and your question suddenly took on a whole new meaning for me...

As Diane says, a Laser is just a concentrated light beam, so should not have any worse effect on pregnant women than on anyone else who might be exposed.
