Hello again.. i am currently updating the company's safety statement. we are an irish company. I need to incorporate, vibration, noise, asbestos new regs into the safety statement. Can anyone tell me as a matter of interest, are vans included as a cause of vibration? i remember doing it in college, but we covered trucks and lorries as being the cause of wbv. Do Berling vans come under this?... thanks

HSE Info Sheet INDG175(REV2) Says that road vehicles are unlikely to require action as the risk arises from shaking/jolting via the seat or floor, it is unlikely a driver under normal conditions will be exposed to a significant risk. If it is the case then either the vehicle requires maintenance or vehicle is not suitable for the surface.
