I am looking for a "train the trainer" type of course to send two members of staff on to train them with regards to DSE/Workstation/Ergonomics etc.
The course will enable them to train staff in the correct use of workstations etc in an office environment.
Has anyone got any suggestions as to what to look for, warnings, course providers etc.
We are based in Coventry

In the past we have used Chaos Ergonomics for our train the trainer workstation courses and found them to be good. Log on to www.dsecompliance.co.uk (PS I have no commercial links with the company and only mention them as I have been on one of their courses). Hope this helps

Hi, ROSPA do a 2 day course, which may suit you, although I feel it is a bit much for basic DSE assessors. I completed the course and have developed a half day DSE assessors course for staff, who then carry out DSE assessments on site. You may be able to send one person on the ROSPA course and then have them train other assessors. Depends on the demand for DSE assessments in your organisation. It benefits us as we are a multi site office organisation with around 1500 work stations. If you put your email address on thread I will send you a copy of our DSE assessment paperwork..might help
Cheers.

EEF do a course that i am sending staff on. It is a day workshop on carrying out assessments and they will also be able to advise too. If you are not a member the workshop is £150
