Does anyone have contact details for any Consultants who act as Appointed Persons for construction lifting operations?

Have a self erecting tower crane going on one of our sites which the business will be taking over the operation of for 12 weeks, but there is a shortage of AP skills in-house.

Do you know of anyone?

Have you tried the IOSH register of consultants or the construction industry specialist group?

If you come up with a blank let me know and I'll ask round for you.

All the best

just out of curiosity what is the make of the self erector you are going to use? our company has used several of these in the last 12 months, and would the hire company not do the lifting plan for you (obviously at a cost)? or why not send someone from within your company on the approved course.
if you would like any further information contact me via e-mail.
