Schedule 1 of CDM 2007 Regs gives the information required. HSE will have a standard form in due course, but you are free to present the particulars in whatever format you wish.

See Annex 5 to paper HSC/06/54 on the HSE site.

Understood that we were to carry on using same form? Is there to be a new one?

There is a new form because there are new items to be notified, such as names of designers already appointed, time allowed for preparation (under Reg 15b) and a declaration signed by the Client.

According to the APS website CDM2007 has now been signed off by the Minister, so the clock is ticking to 6th April.

John

i am aware of schedule 1 but following an recent seminar regarding CDM 2007 the format for new F10 was mentioned and understand the format is still to be agreed.

i understand that the CDM C is to ensure the notification is appropriately forwarded to the relevant enforcing authority but who signs CDM C, Client,Designer,Contractor, int, rev.

hence the thread does anyone have any news

As John has indicated it is all in the ACOP and regulations, unlike CDM94, the Client now also has to sign the F10 and details of the designers need to be included.

As with CDM94 you do not have to use a specific F10, any format including email, a letter or fax will suffice. The HSE will provide an updated F10 in due course but I wouldn't expect it to be around by April!

If you are involved in CDM, you really do need to read and digest the contents of the ACOP.

Although the new F10 is not in the ACOP as it was in the HSG224, the latest version of of the draft (allegedly as it will be published) is available on the HSE web site at http://webcommunities.hs...iewdocument?docid=124805

You will need to register to the CDM forum unless you already are.
