Hi All,
I was wanting to set out a testing schedule and part of it is including the testing of site huts electrical supply.
Can anyone offer exact guidance on the frequency of such tests and the source.

Distance from supply source (volt drop??)
Integrity of hut supply, protective devices.
Cable CSA and device discrimination / type.
Cable routing and mech protection.
Loading on each hut compatible with protective devices.
Earth integrity.
Earth loop.
Earth size

see the PAT Testing in Construction post directly below yours. The requirement is annual (from HSG141)

Depends on use or if transient or fixed, as you will have initial installation tests and obviously the periodical.
Check IEE regs or even contact NECIEC

Ron, Lee was asking about supply, not the fixed or portable stuff.
Anyhow dependant on the site it would be prudent to "check" the supply cables and points of entry reasonably frequently for signs of damage.
