Posted By David G C i have noticed on varoius threads that members sometimes leave there email address at the end of the thread for readers to send/receive information etc. No doubt these people are inundated with SPAM - A word of advice - exposing your email address on forums such as this one allows email spiders that search the Internet collecting ("phishing" its called) exposed email addresses which are then entered into a database, owners of these databases then set to sending out nonsense email SPAM. If you decide to leave your details for fellow members consider to extend the email address such as emailme"leaveouttheitalicsbit"@provider.co.uk Note the italics bit as this helps to reduce the amount of SPAM you may get in future.

Posted By Merv Newman We have totally dropped our original e-mail server (200 spams per day) and gone over to hotmail and gmail. So far no more than one a week. But I must admit that I sort of enjoyed the e-mails from highly distinguised and qualified nigerian lawyers or sons of princes who could not compose a grammatical sentence in English. And who needs Viagra anyway ? Maybe it reduces stress. (had to get some H&S content in there) Merv
