Which fork lift type is best for interaction with people indoors ie Diesel or Gas , has any one done a study or able to give me some direction please

Being even more obtuse - it doesn't matter because if you interact with it, whichever type it is it will hurt!!
However, agree with previous respondant - have you considerede electric?

Carbon monoxide from diesel and gas powered trucks may represent significant additional risk in an indoors environment.
Fumes from battery powered trucks must be appropriately accomodated and controlled at the recharging and service stations.
Overall though, electrically powered trucks will represent fewer problems in an indoors environment.

I would say it depends on the type of indoor use. Big warehouse and well ventilated then gas - smaller enclosed use then electric is the baby.
