Good morning all,
My company are looking at setting up a workshop to maintain and repair train air conditioning units. This will include topping up refrigerant. Can any one point me in the direction of any relevant regulations/guidance for this activity,

There are others; I would imagine you will have to comply with the F-Gas regulations due out if memory serves me July (ish) 2007, commenced 2006, can't see any reason why you would not come under them, I have not spent a lot of time looking; the regulation aims to contain, prevent and thereby reduce emissions of the fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-gases) covered by the Kyoto Protocol.I can't be specific on transport based mountable systems although I suspect you will come under the control of refrigerant leakage and associated handling.
Sorry, can't offer much more as fixed is what I mainly deal with.
