Posted By lewes Hi all We have a problem when lifting brake calipers onto commercial trailers when servicing or repairing them. These are large trailers and the calipers weigh approx 40kg and space is restricted. The practice at the moment isnt good (sitting on the floor and man handling) and im looking at anything to undertake this in a more suitable manner. I did look at using a small hydraulic platform but it will be too cumbersome trying to access the middle and last wheels. I have found these and wanted to know of any other suggestions or experience http://www.indevagroup.c...ustrial_manipulators.htm Cheers

Posted By Bill Headley If your requirement is to move this equipment, there is a new vehicle available which offers a rear floor which lowers to the ground - it's built on a front wheel drive vehicle so the whole rear floor lowers. Have a look at this website. http://www.flexiloader.co.uk
