Off the top of my head I would consider the following: Slip resistant fabric, fire rated is available now apparently. unsure how necessary or useful this would be though. Maintenance i.e how often will it need to be vacummed/washed. i.e weight of vacuum required manual handling, frequency of use. Life span, i.e if 10 yrs guaranteed. Note to be included into the buildings H&S File of when this would become due for replacement Laid by a competent carpet fitter to minmise risk of fittings/carpet coming loose.
