Hello all,

Can anyone help with this query?

A recent Care Standards Inspection identified in their report of the premises that a certificate is required, similar to that for gas heating, is required for the oil based heating system.

The system has been checked by Corgi registered engineer, but we have been informed that they do not issue certificates for oil based systems.

Can anyone shed any light? or direct me to someone or something that can help.

Many Thanks

You need to have the system inspected and serviced by an OFTEC engineer.

Like the CORGI system its based on the engineer having undertaken appropriate training and assessment.

Use the search on the oftec website. This is to locate a local engineer: http://www.ofteconline.com/locatecompany.asp

And this is the main OFTEC website http://www.oftec.co.uk/
